I regretted looking for a clinic when I was too ignorant during my first surgery So for 4 years, I searched for clinics with all kinds of keywords like revision eye surgery / line symmetry / uneven eyes / double-line correction / incisional revision surgery I was busy during that time too, but whenever I had time, I went around for consultations and studied by watching things like YouTube But there wasn’t any place I really liked, and I heard double-line correction can easily cause side effects like lagophthalmos So I became even more cautious while looking for a clinicㅠㅠㅠㅠ with the mindset that if this goes wrong this time, it’s really over....
The place I found like that and ended up getting surgery at was Olo in Apgujeong Since it’s a private clinic, I won’t separately write the director’s info. I’m also not sure about sharing the cost, so if you’re curious, comment ㄱㄱ
The reason I decided on this place was that when I went for consultations, there were places where the consultant diagnosed the surgery and explained things almost like the doctor But here, the consultant didn’t get involved in the surgical part If I asked something, she said she would need to discuss it with the director, or that the director would look and tell me It wasn’t a consultation where they rashly said, “You absolutely need to do this,” so I felt at ease The consultant simply caught what points I wanted and made sure they weren’t missed during the consultation She was someone who properly relayed them to the director. So I think the consultation went more smoothlyㅠㅠ
And the director also looked at everything really thoroughly during the consultation It was my first time seeing someone design a double-eyelid line while even checking the pupil exposure ratio.... As expected, the diagnosis was that double-line correction was unavoidableㅠㅠㅠ Since my eye-opening strength was weak, we decided to do ptosis correction together too
On day 3, my eyes felt very stiff and dry The bruising was obvious, so when I went outside, I wore a hat. It’s easy to be mistaken for someone with some kind of story for no reason.... Still, after the stitches were removed, the bruising started going down quickly from then on There was some swelling, but when I looked with my eyes closed, the symmetry matched well, so I didn’t want to waste emotions over it Like they say, it was only one week in;; Since I had double-line correction, it would make even less sense to feel like it was fine after just one week... But when people around me said it looked like uneven eyes, I got sensitive and stubbornly insisted it wasn’tㅋㅋ ㅠㅠ I think I was really sensitive too..
As I spent time getting progress checks and aftercare at the clinic By the one-month mark, the swelling was almost gone, and whether I looked from the front or took photos with my eyes closed My eyes became symmetrical! I’m moved because they became the in-out line I had wanted since my first surgery... Seriously, when the symmetry matches well, the eyes look so much prettier ㅠㅠ When my eyes are closed, it’s exactly about that level, and I don’t have lagophthalmos either. This counts as not much scarring... right????!!! I don’t have any friends around me who had double-line correction, so I’m posting because I’m curious I’m hoping it’ll get even lighter after about a year.... 🤤
