I usually had severe hollowness under my eyes, and when I smiled, the under-eye fat pads protruded irregularly, which bothered me. Because I had a habit of opening my eyes using the strength of my forehead and eyebrows, my forehead wrinkles and eyelids had sagged a lot, making my whole face look shadowed and droopy. To address these concerns, I received a consultation with Director Lee Min-cheol at a plastic surgery clinic through an acquaintance’s recommendation, and I ended up having a forehead lift, lower blepharoplasty, under-eye fat repositioning, and midface reduction performed there. Right after surgery, the bruising and swelling were severe, but they gradually subsided, and by about 4 weeks, things looked more natural than at first. The under-eye fat pads started settling into place, and the double eyelids that had been covered by the sagging upper eyelid skin became clearly visible, so many of the issues that had bothered me were resolved, and I’m satisfied.
