It’s been almost 2-3 months since I had consultations. I went around to about 3 places; I passed on one because the consultation wasn’t great, one was more natural-looking, and one was more naturally glamorous. Still, since I’m getting it done anyway, even if I don’t want it to look like “a nose that obviously had full rhinoplasty,” I do want there to be some noticeable change, so I was considering the naturally glamorous side. But!! After reading posts saying things like complications from rhinoplasty absolutely don’t end after just one time, I’ve been thinking about it until now. It seems like the risk of complications is usually higher when silicone is inserted. All 3 places said I do have some nasal bridge, so if I really wanted to put something in, they recommended 3 mm, but they said that if possible, just doing the nasal tip would probably be fine. So everyone, what I’m asking is: if I don’t put in silicone and only do the nasal tip, are there still many cases of complications or needing surgery more than twice? It’s not a bulbous nose or anything like that, and I mostly want to do it together because of deviated septum. Please, I’m asking for a clear, straightforward answer. I think there are tons of people like me. Please don’t just say things like “do whatever you want”; I think realistic answers from people who have actually done it would help a lot of people. For reference, I’m thinking of crooked nose correction + autologous costal cartilage or donated rib cartilage. No silicone. Please leave your personal thoughts on this post!!!
