It has now been a little over a month since I had double eyelid surgery, so I’m leaving a review. My eyes originally tended to look a bit stuffy, so I kept only thinking about it, but in the end I just went for it… I went to consultations at about 3 places and chose a place that would make it look natural. I didn’t want the line to be too dramatic, so I had it set somewhere between an inline and an in-out line, and I didn’t have epicanthoplasty.
Right after the surgery, because of the swelling and bruising, I honestly wondered if this was right, but after 1 week, the major swelling went down. From the 2nd week, I was able to meet people, and now it looks almost natural. It hasn’t completely settled yet, but my eye-opening strength is fine and I like the line too.
After getting double eyelid surgery, my eyes definitely look clearer, and I feel like makeup goes on much better, so my satisfaction is pretty high. For people who don’t want it to look too obvious, I definitely recommend going for a natural look.
