I’m leaving this review because I felt there was no sense of responsibility in the aftercare.
I underwent posterior and lower canthoplasty in November 2024. Putting aside whether the stitches were not fully removed or anything else, I have a red scar that looks torn only on my left eye.
In January 2026, I requested a consultation via KakaoTalk, but when I actually went in, instead of a consultation, Dr. Hwang simply gave me a scar-tissue injection and left.
Recently, in March 2026, the redness had slightly faded, but I requested a consultation to ask about it. They tried to give me only another injection again, so I said I wanted a “consultation.”
The response I got was: - It is a scar I will have to live with for the rest of my life, and it is not noticeable from far away - They never said there would be no scarring, and it will naturally fade - It is a difficult surgery, so it can’t be helped, and I should not be greedy
.. I felt as if I were being treated like a patient questioning something I was not supposed to ask about. I think patients should be given a specific “diagnosis” and “explanation.” I felt like a part passing through a factory.
