I had a consultation because I wanted to get jaw Botox, and I did not have the consultation with a doctor. The consultation was brief, and they said not only my jaw but also my salivary glands were developed, so I went ahead with Botox for both the jaw and salivary glands. They said something about resistance, but since I wasn’t going to get it often anyway, I just got the cheapest domestic Botox. After the consultation, I received only the injections from the doctor almost right away, and that was it. (The jaw is okay, but the salivary glands hurt...) At about 2 weeks, when I put strength into my jaw, one side protruded like a round candy, so I called, and they said that can happen and that it would be fine with time. Of course it did go away, but I was a bit disappointed.
