I’ve always been concerned about drooping nostril wings, so I went for a consultation with the chief director at a hospital well known for alar lift surgery. My overall impression was that it was “quick and clear, but short.” First, I paid a consultation fee of 10,000 won, but the consultation with the director ended quickly in about 3 minutes. I understand they’re busy, but if you don’t prepare your questions in advance, it could feel a bit empty. I was quoted 3 million won for an alar lift, excluding VAT. The cost varies quite a lot depending on whether you participate in a review event. The discount amount changes depending on the review platform or how much of your face you agree to show, and I was told it could go down to the low 2 million won range depending on the conditions. If you’re not burdened by showing your face, I think the price has merit. I do feel disappointed that the consultation time was short, but it seems like this is the place where the results for alar lift surgery come out the prettiest, so I’m torn. It’s a place with clear pros and cons between skill and cost, so I recommend that others also prepare a good list of questions before going in for a consultation.
