First, I had the consultation in the order of director then consultant, and I think it took less than 10 minutes total. He looked at my eyes, drew quickly on paper, and briefly explained what he thought could be done. I’m not sure if he has very definite ideas of his own, but when I tried setting a slightly higher line, he said what he did was better than that. Also, when I said my eyes are uneven and I wanted surgery on both sides, he said there was no need for that. My opinion was almost not included at all… Still, he seemed professional, so he felt trustworthy. But double eyelid surgery is still surgery, and the way he talked about it like it was nothing bothered me a bit.
