When undergoing plastic surgery, that is, surgery for cosmetic purposes, looking at a CT scan before looking at the face is extremely reckless. You really need to know that we have no reference for what “pretty bone structure” looks like! It feels like a gukbap restaurant run by a foul-mouthed grandma? Like craftsmen with a prickly attitude, but with the “craftsmen” part removed? I had a consultation in 2018 or 2019 and even had a bone implant made, but it was so long ago that it’s a shame I can’t remember why I was so out of it back then. As sensitive people with extremely low self-esteem tend to do, I got irritated by anything anyone said. Back then and even now, there is no surgical technique that adds volume to the midface (you have to get filler). There is a reason everyone avoids certain surgeries. When I got the consultation, I was young, so I got drawn in by the idea of underdog = skilled practitioner, and I paid 1 million won to have a mold of my bone structure made (like they do at the dentist). I was told I would be able to receive it, but in the end I never got it, and they didn’t refund the 1 million won lololol seriously lololol No matter how good a 3D printer they used, it would probably be SDF, and unless they put gold in the filament, that price honestly feels like it was just charged to pay rent. I’m not even sure whether they actually printed it. Anyway, I got tempted and transferred 1 million won right away, but then I came to my senses after seeing an actual patient review on Tistory. I don’t know if it’s still there now.
