I was concerned that my face looked wide because of my jaw muscles, so I had a consultation. They explained things more simply and realistically than I expected, so it was easy to understand. First, they said that since my jaw muscles are fairly developed, I’m the type who could see some effect in tidying up the facial line with Botox. However, they explained that if the bone itself is large, the change is more of a gradual slimming over time rather than a dramatic difference. They said the dosage varies by person, and for me, they recommended only a moderate dose for both sides. They said that getting too much can weaken chewing strength, so it’s better not to overdo it at first. I was told that the effect doesn’t appear immediately, but gradually becomes visible after 2 to 4 weeks, and although the maintenance period varies by person, it lasts for around a few months. Overall, rather than feeling like they were pushing the procedure no matter what, it felt like they explained it based on my condition, which was fine. It seems like a procedure I could start without much pressure, so I’m thinking about it.
