Eye Surgery Reviews

If you’ve been told you always look sleepy because of droopy eyelids, read this

For a long time, I was someone who was extremely stressed because of my droopy eyes. I’m still not that old, but as my eyelids gradually drooped more and more, I was constantly hearing that I always looked sleepy. Every time I took photos, it looked like my eyes were barely half open, and even when I did eye makeup, it all got covered, so honestly it was the biggest source of stress for me. So at first, I only looked into eye shape correction, but after getting a consultation, I was told that in my case, I needed to do upper blepharoplasty together, removing the sagging eyelid skin itself, for the eye shape correction effect to come out properly. They said it wasn’t quite to the level of ptosis, but if I left it alone, it could get worse later. Dr. Hwang In-seok at ID Hospital explained everything really step by step. He looked at my eye condition and went over, one by one, how much incision would be needed and what the recovery period would be like, so I trusted him. I had gone around to consultations here and there and heard a lot of vague answers, but this was the first place where I felt like it actually made sense. The surgery was done under sedation and ended faster than I expected. After it was over, the swelling did rise up quite a bit, but I felt like that much was something I had to accept, and the pain wasn’t as bad as I had expected. At first, it felt a bit frustrating because of the swelling, but after about a week, the outline started to settle, and I began to feel like, ah, these are my eyes. After about a week, I was almost able to go about daily life without much difficulty, and now, 3 months later, I can really feel that my eyes open properly. It feels like the droopy eyes that used to bother me so much have been completely cleaned up. Even when taking photos, I no longer have to force myself to open my eyes wide, so it’s so comfortable 🔥 If you’re worried about droopy eyes, I really recommend upper blepharoplasty^^
