I thought I had looked into hospitals pretty thoroughly for my nose surgery, but whether contracture happens or not really seems to depend on the person During my first surgery, my nose became crooked, so I had the implant removed, but afterward contracture developed, and I went through a really hard time emotionally. On top of that, I even got nasal obstruction!^^ Because of this, I looked into functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, and thanks to that, I went to GNG Hospital and my revision rhinoplasty was successful. I went there because it is an ENT clinic and is well known for functional nose surgery. The reviews for the director were good too, and the consultation was very thorough, so I scheduled the surgery date right away. Because my nasal tip had lifted too much, I had a skin graft for the nasal tip as well, and they used autologous costal cartilage in the nasal tip to support it firmly!! For now, I’m so satisfied just that my upturned nose has been resolved And my nasal obstruction has definitely improved too, so rather than focusing only on improving the cosmetic aspect, I think it was a good choice to look into functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty. For cases like mine where contracture came along with nasal obstruction, I recommend getting revision rhinoplasty as functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty.
