The very first thing I tried was Hiko. Rhinoplasty scared me, and I heard the effect was decent, so I tried it, but it didn’t last very long Then 4 years ago, I was tempted because I heard Coselko had a short recovery period and the procedure was simple, so I got it. When I had it done, it was cheaper than rhinoplasty, but these days it seems to have gotten much more expensive. Coselko used autologous cartilage and they said there were almost no inflammation-related side effects... They said it wasn’t inflammation.... but the tip of my nose did get a bit red. Since only that part was sticking out, the boundary showed, and I even heard people ask if I’d been bitten by a mosquito I didn’t use an implant, but because the angle where the Coselko was placed and the angle of my bridge became different, that area looked sunken, and it was incredibly stressful. Only the nasal tip looked sharp. I went to 6 consultations. Some places quoted really high prices, but more than that, they said things like it couldn’t be completely removed, or that if I wanted it removed I’d have to accept my nose shape becoming strange.... I had a lot of upsetting moments while going around for consultations 😢 In the end, I had surgery at a clinic with experience removing Coselko. They showed me what the removed Coselko shape looked like and explained in detail how much could be done after surgery, so that helped me decide. My nasal tip cartilage had been compressed, making the tip wide and low, but since they had only stacked material on the tip, the tip was bending and the nasal dorsum was becoming indented. So they said they would completely remove the Coselko, raise the nasal tip with ear cartilage, and also use ear cartilage to widen and cover the area that made my nostrils look wide. It’s now been a little over 1 year since the surgery, and the nasal tip height is maintained well, with no show-through at all. Among the places where I had consultations, some recommended autologous costal cartilage, and some scared me a lot by saying that if I used ear cartilage, it would droop again, but now that a year has passed, the nasal tip moves naturally too, and people meeting me for the first time have no idea I had surgery, so I’m very satisfied. Coselko being simple and less burdensome is good, but I think whether it looks natural depends on the person. In the past, at least it was cheap, but looking at reviews posted these days, the price has gotten way too expensive.... If it had been that price for my first surgery, I would have just gotten rhinoplasty, but after going round and round, I’m glad I finally like it now 🤭
