Review of Revision Eye Surgery + Canthoplasty at Dress Plastic Surgery

I was stressed because of my uneven eyes, and in the end I got revision eye surgery. One eyelid line was gradually coming undone and felt like it was drooping, and as time passed the asymmetry got worse, so I kept worrying about it every time I took photos. Even before that, my eyes made my overall impression look indistinct, so I wanted to change them to look more defined. At first, I thought revision surgery wouldn’t be that difficult, but after going to consultations at several clinics, my thoughts changed a bit. Each clinic recommended slightly different types of surgery, and although they said they would create a line that suited my face, each director’s own style also showed through a little. The details of how they set the line and the way they explained things were different, so you’ll probably feel that if you go for consultations in person. For surgery, I had natural adhesion revision double eyelid surgery together with epicanthoplasty and dual canthoplasty. I liked the line they marked during the consultation the most, and they planned the direction based on the eye shape I wanted, so it didn’t feel like they were excessively recommending this and that. Since I had canthoplasty in three areas at the same time, I thought the swelling or recovery would last a long time, but the swelling went down faster than I expected. Of course, it was noticeable in the early period, but it wasn’t to the point that daily life was very uncomfortable. I didn’t do anything particularly special for aftercare, just light walks to help reduce swelling and some warm/cold compresses. Even without doing a lot of different things, it felt like the swelling naturally went down as time passed. Right now there’s still a little residual swelling, but I’m still very satisfied. Even if the remaining swelling goes down, I don’t think my eyes will change dramatically; I think they’ll just look a bit more natural from how they are now. Personally, I’m most satisfied that the unevenness of my eyes improved, and since my impression looks more defined than before, I guess I don’t have that blank-looking vibe anymore..? For people considering revision surgery, even if it’s inconvenient, I really recommend going to consultations at several places. For eyes, I think the difference in details is really big, so choosing the clinic seems important.
