About ten years ago, I suddenly gained a lot of weight, and because I left it like that for a long time, even when I dieted, everything else went back to normal, but the breast sagging did not go backㅜㅜ
I’m unmarried, and I thought I couldn’t live my whole life with breasts like this~ so I looked around here and there (I didn’t research that thoroughly. I just looked at photo reviews on Babi Talk, avoided places that seemed too artificial in shape... after roughly checking things out)
The hospital I originally most wanted to go to was a place that lifts using only my own breast tissue without implants and makes the shape pretty, but their cost was a little higher than the others...
My breasts were not that small to begin with, so if they hadn’t sagged, I probably wouldn’t have thought about augmentation. But since I was going to have surgery on my breasts anyway, I also started thinking maybe I should make them just a little bigger than now...
To save some money too, I skipped the first place I had bookmarked, and the second clinic I went to for a consultation was so unfriendly. The third place was this one, and first of all the director was kind and seemed to have a lot of experience in the field, so I paid the deposit and scheduled the surgery right away on the day of the consultation.
It’s been about 8 months since the surgery. Motiva 300cc on both sides.
Actually, since my breast base was large (underbust circumference 80), except for the first hospital that would do a lift using only my own tissue, both of the other hospitals I consulted at said they could insert up to 380~400 and recommended putting in the maximum if I was going to do it anyway... But I thought overly large breasts can look a bit foolish, and I only wanted them a little bigger than my original size. Even looking at photo reviews on cosmetic apps, because everyone’s ribcage, original breast size, and so on are different, it’s hard to compare results based only on Motiva size... so I chose 300, which is smaller than the doctor’s recommended size.
Actually... every hospital except the one I originally wanted said that if you don’t use an implant, the breast lift effect isn’t very good, and they recommended a lift surgery with implants.
It also seems like most hospitals recommend Motiva a lot, and when I looked at reviews, many people had it done with Motiva... and in the reviews... after a few months they said it became soft like their own tissue, so I thought that must be true...
Since breast lift involves making an incision through the upper half of the areola, removing about 3 cm of the skin above it, then inserting an implant and suturing it closed, because of the weight of the implant too, <the lifting effect is not very good!!!> And... when touching it while standing, the feel is fine, like my own breast... But when lying down......what do you mean this is my breast!! My tissues spread out to the sides and only the implant remains up top, so the feel is...ㅜㅜ it feels like a rock It’s not that the implant hardened because of a surgical complication... I saw in reviews from several months later that everyone said it became soft like their own breast... natural breasts are completely soft when you touch them... but the implant isn’t even as soft as my own tissue when I touch it, so I did have some doubt about whether it was really supposed to feel like my own breast like the reviews said... but since the reviews all said it would become like my own tissue, I thought that once it was actually inside the body, maybe the tissue would wrap around it and make it feel like my own tissue~ ....but that’s not it!! Overall I’m fairly satisfied except when lying down.
At the consultation, they told me that after about a year, all the unevenness in the suture area would smooth out, so I thought that would happen... but even after 8 months, the skin is getting softer, yet the bumpy uneven marks are still the same... so I wonder whether this will really improve even if a few more months pass. Well, still, it improved in shape compared to before I had anything done, so I’m just moderately satisfied...
After going through various surgeries, my expectations for cosmetic surgery are... just that if it’s better than before surgery, that’s good enough...ㅡㅡ
And if I try to think positively again, because there was almost no lift and it only became larger while sagging due to the implant, it actually doesn’t look obviously like cosmetic breasts, and the shape is almost like my own, lol....ㅋ.....ㅡㅡ
Except for the unevenness at the suture site and the hard feel of the implant when lying down, I’m generally satisfied... the unevenness isn’t like that everywhere, just in some spots.
Oh! There are still moments when I get sudden tingling stabs. It happens more often on the left than on the right. It’s not severe tingling. I don’t think it’s happening because of some problem, so I haven’t gone to the hospital for any separate tests. I’ll be getting a health checkup in a bit, so I’ll see then too...
I was told the hardness around the suture line would loosen with time, but even after 8 months it still bothers me, so I made an appointment to ask whether getting scar tissue injections would be good. The director said they’d look at it and do it if needed.
I was told to apply the two scar/scar-cream products, but no matter how diligently I put them on, I don’t really feel any effect after applying them. I guess time is the medicine lol
