Here is my 6-month review after rhinoplasty. I never had a major complex about my nose shape before, but every time I took photos, the hump visible from the side kept bothering me, so I decided to get surgery. It was not very noticeable from the front, but especially from side angles, the hump stood out quite a bit. So at first I considered filler too, but fillers have a limited maintenance period, and they do not feel like they fundamentally refine the line cleanly, so I decided to go with surgery instead. Rather than shaving down the hump, I chose to leave it and raise the nasal tip with ear cartilage. My goal was for it to look natural and not obvious, but still look a little better.
Before surgery, I was worried it might look too artificial or that only the nasal tip would be lifted and look awkward. But during the consultation, what I felt was that in my case, it did not need to be raised excessively; even a small increase would correct it. The director also explained in detail what was possible and what was not, and understood exactly the aesthetic I wanted, so I chose this clinic. I personally thought it was right to consider a nose that suits each individual rather than a flashy nose.
Now, 6 months later, I think almost all the swelling has gone down, and honestly, even from the 1-month mark, it was not that noticeable. To be honest, unless I tell them, even my friends around me do not notice because it turned out so natural, so I am satisfied. Before, when seen from the side, the middle part looked very protruded, but now it connects smoothly, and the hump is still slightly left the way I wanted, so I actually think it is charming and I am satisfied.
Also, when raising the nasal tip, my tip did not look strange before either, so I was worried that part might completely disappear. But that worry turned out to be unnecessary; the shape stayed exactly the same and only became higher, which was surprising and nice. It improved just a little without looking obvious. And I did not know this either, but when people with a hump get rhinoplasty, the nose is often slightly crooked, and that was also corrected. As the center of my face became balanced, the proportions looked more organized and my overall impression became cleaner. I do not get stressed when taking photos anymore, and I am living satisfied.
Of course, I am also glad there are no functional problems at all. Personally, what I felt from the surgery is that rather than height, it is right to shape the line to suit the person, and I am very satisfied with the result because they set the direction moderately and naturally. That is all~~
