I had alar reduction and nasal tip cartilage suturing surgery! I’m so satisfied with my nose these days 🙂 The surgery was over after I fell asleep and woke up, and when I woke up it didn’t hurt at all. It takes over an hour by car to get home, but it didn’t hurt!! The most painful it got after surgery was when I accidentally bumped my nose a little. If I stayed still, it really didn’t hurt at all, so I even wondered if I’d actually had surgery lol
I had bruising under my eyes and on my nose, but it wasn’t extremely bothersome, and it naturally goes away with time!! The most important thing, swelling, was less than I expected. It was swollen about as much as the feeling of waking up after eating a ton at night, so other people couldn’t even tell I’d had surgery! After surgery, it was hard to open my mouth wide, but I still ate all my food just fine lol
If I had to name something uncomfortable, it was only having to hold my cheekbones when laughing, and other than that there was nothing uncomfortable at all. Now I totally recommend it to everyone around me! After alar reduction, my nostril wings became smaller, and with the cartilage suturing, my nose looks higher from the side. From the front, the nasal tip is gathered together, so I used to Photoshop my nose every day, but now I don’t have to anymore, which makes taking photos fun.
And it feels like my face became prettier in a subtle, natural way, so I’m very satisfied. Most of all, the scar isn’t visible and it doesn’t hurt, so I’m very satisfied, and I like that my alar base was reduced as much as I wanted.
