My nose was originally on the small and short side, and it was low, so from the side, the nasal tip looked even lower. From the front, I kept being bothered by how it looked slightly spread out, almost like a bulbous nose. Overall, my face also felt like it lacked dimension, so after thinking about it, rather than changing it in a very flashy way, I wanted to refine it naturally. I proceeded without an implant, with osteotomy and implant-free nasal tip surgery.
During the consultation, I liked that they honestly explained what was possible and what the limitations were based on the condition of my nose. It didn’t feel like they were pushing anything excessive, and instead, they talked about going in a natural direction rather than forcing a big change, so I felt I could trust them.
After the surgery, they didn’t put packing in my nose, so it was much less difficult than I expected. I had heard a lot from people around me that nose surgery is hard, so I was worried, but there was almost no pain. Rather than hurting, it just felt itchy occasionally. But during the first 2 to 3 days, there was swelling and a blocked-nose feeling, and that was the most uncomfortable part. Still, I didn’t feel much inconvenience in daily life.
Now, I’m most satisfied that my nasal tip has lifted and created a side profile, and it looks less spread out than before, so overall my features look a bit clearer.
It hasn’t completely settled yet, so I think it will look even better once it settles more naturally. Overall, what I like most is that it changed without looking excessive.
