My nasal bridge was crooked, and one nostril/alar side looked like it had collapsed on one side, so my whole nasal axis was completely twisted.. If I got revision surgery, the bridge could be corrected, but I was more stressed about the nostril/alar asymmetry. (In photos, I seriously looked like someone who had been punched in the nose.) But no matter how much I searched online, I couldn’t find any cases where one nostril/alar side drooped like mine, so I basically lived with obsessive anxiety about it for a whole year I massaged that one nasal ala upward every day before sleeping.. (Like that was going to work?) Then I found out there’s a surgery called alar lifting, and I started doing online and in-person consultations, wondering if this could correct it. Every other place said things like, “Everyone has asymmetry”.. and one place said, “It’s true one side is drooping, so let’s just do alar base reduction on the right side,” so they either didn’t really take my nostril/alar issue seriously or suggested methods that didn’t feel trustworthy. But at the hospital I chose, the director looked at my nose really objectively and told me exactly how the asymmetry could be corrected. The price was the same as the app price even though it was a revision and they were also working on the nasal ala, without adding this and that.. I put down the deposit right away and came home. It’s the day after removing the splint, and even before the splint came off (since I could see the nostril/alar area), I really liked it so much I thought, wow, this really can be corrected I also asked for the nasal bridge to look natural, and I’m very satisfied!!!!! For anyone who has nostril/alar asymmetry like me.. Guys, this can be corrected!!😭😭
