I had cheekbone reduction surgery with Director Lee Tae-sung, who is very well known for facial contouring, and I think the results are heading in a direction I’m quite satisfied with. At first, to be honest, the change wasn’t as dramatic as I had expected, so I wondered whether it was really worth all the hardship, and thought that since at least there were no side effects, I should just be satisfied with having experienced it. But as time goes by, I definitely feel like my face is becoming more refined. It took 3 months for the major swelling to go down, but because I gained a lot of weight, the residual swelling is going down more slowly than for others. When I look in the mirror, I like that I seem slightly different day by day, and the best part is that it looks natural. My standard is always that it has to look natural, and he took good care of that part so that my face wouldn’t look longer. Also, the most important parts, communication with the doctor and the staff’s honest sharing of information, have been helpful, and they take really good care of me after surgery, so I rely on them a lot in that regard. They say the change starts to show clearly in photos from around the 3-month mark, but I’m already changing little by little, so I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead!!
