Eye Surgery Reviews

VN double eyelid surgery review, I think I succeeded in getting celebrity-like eyes..?? >.<

**My eyes before surgery** I originally had natural double eyelids, but the lines were uneven and had loosened, so I looked sleepy..

**The eye style I wanted** I really, really, really wanted that sly cat-like eye style like aespa NN... so I decided to get double eyelid surgery >.< I wanted a semi-out line, and I wanted the line to show clearly even with makeup on.

**Clinic-hopping** My older sister knows a lot about cosmetic surgery, so I didn’t waste time researching online. I got clinic recommendations from her and went clinic-hopping. The clinic my sister recommended the most was VN, and I also booked two other clinics on the same day, so I finished all the consultations in one day.

- Incision + ptosis correction + upper canthoplasty - Partial incision + ptosis correction + upper canthoplasty + epicanthoplasty

The other clinics recommended those, while Director Kim Tae-hoon at VN recommended natural adhesion + non-incisional ptosis correction. I liked that the surgical method was non-incisional, and the line the director designed for me was exactly the semi-out look I wanted. More than anything, my natural eyes were uneven on both sides, and while the other clinics set the same line on both eyes.. here, they said they would set the left at 9 mm and the right at 9.5 mm to match the symmetry, so I trusted them and went ahead with the surgery.

**Day of surgery** No need to prepare anything. Honestly, for double eyelid surgery, you can come and go alone. It was my first time, so my older sister came with me.. but I don’t think you really need someone to come with you!! Before surgery, I finalized the design with the director again and went into surgery. I wasn’t nervous right before the surgery, but I actually got a little nervous in the recovery room.. I think I was shaking until right before looking in the mirror lol But huh? There wasn’t as much swelling as I expected, and my eyes just felt a bit heavy to open compared to my original eyes.. that was all. My sister looked at my eyes and said maybe because it was non-incisional, there wasn’t much swelling.. I got excited and took a taxi home. But for me, the swelling got a bit worse the next day, and the heavy feeling lasted 2-3 days. Still, they said they would do swelling care when I went to the clinic at the 1-week mark, so I shut up and just waited for the clinic day.

**My eyes after surgery** Getting care at the clinic was sooooo good!!!!! Rather than the effect being amazing, it was good that the clinic didn’t just ignore me and actually did something for me. They also said they would check my progress anytime afterward if I wanted, and told me to come back within a month if I wanted another swelling laser treatment!! I was too lazy to go again though... This made me realize, oh, this is why people say to go somewhere with a well-organized system. Yep. After I recovered to some extent, I cut full bangs and dyed my hair black, and it really became the eye style I wanted.. These days my routine is taking photos that emphasize my eyes and uploading them to Instagram Stories >.< .... I’m going to bow down to the clinic and my older sister.
