I went to consultations at three places. I was so stressed because of my bulbous nose that I worked hard researching online and also went around for in-person consultations. My questions were whether a straight-to-slightly-curved line was possible, whether the nasal tip/bridge could be raised, how many mm of silicone would need to be inserted, what materials they would use, and so on. I really asked every single detailed thing and came back. But all three have decent nose surgery reviews and gave good consultations, so I still have no sense of where I should do it. What criteria does everyone use to decide in times like this? None of the places recommended autologous costal cartilage at the first consultation. At two places, I was consulted for silicone with septal cartilage and ear cartilage, but one place recommended donated costal cartilage. Can the nose be raised more dramatically depending on the material or something? There are still some things I don't understand, so should I go for another consultation? Ha, maybe because this was my first round of in-person consultations, I couldn't properly ask what I needed to ask.
