1 year and 6 months ago, I got buried-incision double eyelid surgery + upper epicanthoplasty and ended up with very flashy eyes + a fierce-looking impression. People around me said I looked pretty and that I probably didn’t need medial canthoplasty restoration, but you know those things only you yourself notice..? First of all, I didn’t really know exactly what kind of change upper epicanthoplasty would create, and at the time I went around to 4 hospitals with doctors famous for double eyelid surgery and got it done at the place where I thought the line was the prettiest (Daegu). My impression changed too much. But if you only look at the line, it really came out well... So I can’t blame the doctor who did my double eyelid surgery back then. I think it was my own fault for being ignorant about upper epicanthoplasty... After the swelling went down, for a year I just lived more or less like, “Well, at least my eyes got bigger!” while comforting myself, but then before my wedding I ended up getting mentally distressed lol Every dawn, I’d look at my eyes in the mirror and my self-esteem gradually started dropping.. Not only my appearance, but because my lacrimal caruncle was exposed, my eyes stung + my dry eye symptoms were really, really severe. If I went into a claw machine arcade, my eyes stung so much I couldn’t open them lol I missed my original appearance so, so much, so I looked into medial canthoplasty restoration. There didn’t seem to be any famous places in the area where I live, so I went to Seoul. I didn’t go to consultations at many places. I just felt like this was the place, so I immediately booked a consultation + surgery. After reading through that hospital’s YouTube and blog posts carefully, I trusted them. There were a few bad reviews too, but I thought that couldn’t be helped.. If there are successful cases, there are bound to be failed cases too. But the proportion of successful cases seemed overwhelmingly high, so I just went for it. First of all, I could feel that the director was very sincere. I think I chose the hospital well. For the photos, I just brought the first photo of myself!!! I’m currently on day 1. Maybe because of the swelling, I’ve become like a fish... I’m a little anxious, but I’m going to trust it and wait for now..!! The eye stinging + dry eye symptoms disappeared right away. My eyes became moist I’m satisfied because I look gentler now
