I had facial contouring on my cheekbones and jaw, and how should I put it... I changed from having a more mature look to a softer, cuter look. My image has changed enough that people around me notice the difference. I don’t really want to say I had facial contouring, so should I say I got orthodontic treatment...? Like, transparent aligners on the inside made it look that way...? First of all, I’m someone who never used to wear glasses, but now I’m wearing glasses and I also cut my bangs... If someone says, “Something looks different?” I’ve been saying, “It’s because of the glasses. It’s because I cut my bangs. It’s because I got my wisdom teeth removed.” But... in the end, it seems like orthodontic treatment is the answer... I’m curious what everyone else says!
Facial contouring review It’s been 6 weeks! Right now I still have candy-like swelling, so my face somehow feels square. I’m not used to my cheekbones being gone, and since I’m more familiar with my previous face, my previous face still looks better to me Rather than wondering if I look pretty, I’m more scared that people around me will say my face changed....
What I did to reduce swelling: I tried swelling-reducing things like Newvein and angelica root, but they were expensive. What I found at week 6 was that if you go to an internal medicine clinic, say you had cosmetic surgery, and ask for swelling medication, they prescribe medicine that helps circulation! I also got swelling acupuncture at a Korean medicine clinic. I started that in week 5. They said you shouldn’t get acupuncture too early.
My mouth area and face still feel a bit tingly, and I can’t open my mouth all the way, maybe about 2 fingers? The cheekbone scar is still just red.
If you have anything you’re curious about, ask me! I’ll tell you~. Right now I’m just depressed because I’m not used to it... If anyone is at week 6 or had facial contouring surgery similar to mine, please tell me how you’re doing.
