My double eyelid creases kept forming in multiple layers, and the line wasn’t consistent, so it was always on my mind. The line seemed to change depending on my condition that day, which made doing makeup inconvenient, and on some days it actually stood out even more. So I kept debating whether or not to have surgery, and once I had some free time, I immediately started looking into clinics.
For clinics, I mainly looked through Instagram and YouTube, narrowed it down to a few places after filtering reviews that matched my taste, and went to consultations at all of them. I had the surgery at Dress, and overall the consultation felt neat and straightforward. Rather than excessively recommending this and that, they mainly explained what was necessary for my current eye condition, so it didn’t feel burdensome.
Since my eye-opening strength is on the weaker side, they recommended natural adhesion double eyelid surgery along with non-incisional ptosis correction to improve that as well. On the day of surgery, they re-designed the line and checked the front thickness and the angle where the tail of the line drops in detail, which I liked. The line they designed then was my favorite, and the actual result came out fairly similar.
There is still some residual swelling, but the line looks quite clean when I close my eyes. In the morning, it feels slightly swollen, and by the afternoon it looks more natural. Since the line that used to form as multiple double eyelid creases has been cleaned up, makeup has become much easier, eyeliner smudges less, and my eye shape looks more refined.
I’m satisfied because it looks naturally cleaned up overall without feeling overly obvious, and I think it will look even more natural once more swelling goes down. I’m someone who thinks the image people get from a first impression is important, so if you’re worried about multiple eyelid creases like I was, I think it would be worth getting a consultation.
