Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

In the end, I had my silicone removed and got surgery with donated costal cartilage + functional rhinoplastyㅜㅜ

My first surgery at another hospital went wrong, which caused my nasal septum to deviate, making it really hard to breathe. The shortened nasal tip also made me extremely stressed every time I looked in the mirror. Since it was a revision surgery, I had a lot to think about, so I searched a lot and went to many consultations after doing tons of online and in-person research. During the consultation, Director Kim Jae-yoon clearly pointed out solutions according to my priorities, and I thought, “Ah, this doctor really puts safety first,” so I trusted him and decided to have my rhinoplasty at Lowell! (The combination was silicone removal + no implant + donated costal cartilage + ear cartilage + functional rhinoplasty.) Also, the director himself seemed trustworthy, but the price was exactly the same as on the app with no extra charges, so I think that made him feel even more reliable.

[Recovery process] • Day 1: Since they put cotton inside my nose, I had to breathe only through my mouth, so my mouth kept getting extremely dry and it was very hard to fall asleep. This was really the toughest point. • Day 2: The hemostatic cotton was finally removed, and my nose felt completely open, like a whole new world. I realized for the first time how happy simply being able to breathe could make me. • Day 7: The splint and all the stitches in my ear and nose were removed! Every time I went to the hospital, the director checked my condition himself, and they took such meticulous care of me afterward, including swelling injections and laser treatment, so maybe that’s why the swelling went down really quickly.

I’m exactly 1 month post-op now, and although there is still some residual swelling, the shape is settling well without any inflammation or side effects, so I’m very satisfied. I’m already looking forward to seeing how it looks after all the swelling goes down in 6 months. I hope my review helps those who, like me, are worried about both functional issues and stress over the shape! I’ll leave another review again.
