Eye Surgery Considerations

Sisun Plastic Surgery community review

My eyes were wide-set, and the inner corners of my eyes were also round and closed off, but after surgery, it felt like I finally saw the light. I went for a consultation because I wanted my inner eye corners to be open like a Westerner’s, and when I told them that during the consultation, they persuaded me that since my basic facial bone structure and features are fundamentally East Asian, opening them too much like a Westerner’s would actually look strange. Thinking about it, I had only been considering it by looking at the eyes alone, and had never thought about whether it would suit my face, so I decided to do only as much as the director suggested. Before the consultation, they took photos and adjusted various things on the computer, then consulted with me while we looked together at how much they could open the area using the program. They also showed me before-and-after surgery photos of people similar to me, so it was easier to understand. I liked that it didn’t seem like they were just operating by eye, but rather accurately measuring the values with a program and clearly deciding the surgical direction before proceeding. I had medial epicanthoplasty and upper epicanthoplasty together, and once the blocked-off part in the front disappeared, my eyes became bigger than before and my overall impression definitely became much more open and refreshing.
