Liposuction I had 10 years ago was asymmetrical even after the swelling went down, and the clinic’s stance was that time would heal it. I was also scared of having surgery again, so I thought I’d wait and didn’t complain, but even now, 10 years later, the severe asymmetry is exactly the same. My weight hasn’t changed, and I’ve maintained about the same level as back then. My current weight is within 1 kg of what it was at the time of surgery, but the shape of the liposuctioned area is that one side is sunken in and the other side protrudes. Heh.. I rationalized it by telling myself, “I can just live without wearing swimsuits,” as a kind of mental victory. The result is disappointing.
