My eyes are in this condition, and my skin is thick. The distance between my eyebrows and eyes isn’t that wide, so over the weekend I only went around to about three clinics for consultations. The directors all said that non-incisional surgery would definitely come undone, and that it would be better to do an incisional method and make a thin inner double eyelid. That was the common opinion.
The first director said that because I use my eyebrows a lot, they are positioned higher than their original place, so if I get double eyelid surgery, my eyebrow position may return to its original place and make my eyes look a bit stuffy, so I may need a slight epicanthoplasty.
The second director said there was no particular need for canthoplasty, but if I wanted it, I should tell them and they would do it.
The last, third director said canthoplasty wasn’t really necessary, and that it was a bit unfortunate that my eyebrows are low and the distance between my eyes and eyebrows isn’t large. And they gave the same general answer as the others.
Normally I live without thinking much about it, but now that I’m suddenly looking into double eyelid surgery, I’m wondering if this is really right..
