I’ll post my review of an incisional double eyelid + revision eye surgery !!

My first surgery was really long ago at a neighborhood clinic, where I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery!! From the beginning, the line was too low, so I didn’t like it, but it didn’t interfere with daily life, so I just lived with it. Over time, the line started bending more toward the outer side, and above all, I felt like I looked older than my actual age When I decided to have revision surgery this time, I thought I should look into clinics more carefully than I did for my first surgery. I didn’t want to rely only on famous clinics or reviews, so I went around for consultations myself, thinking I should have surgery at a place that listened to my opinions best. I had revision surgery at a clinic with an incisional method, slightly raising my double eyelid line, and overall my eyes look more open and refreshed, so I’m satisfied!! As I said earlier, I went to consultations at several places, and some clinics didn’t judge based on my actual eye condition, but recommended ptosis correction simply because of one thing I said. Some even recommended a forehead lift. But the chief director said from the start that I didn’t need anything else, and that it would be enough to reset only the double eyelid with an incision. Since I have protruding eyes, he said that if I did other ptosis correction or canthoplasty, my eyes could end up looking even more overly intense, so I liked that he focused exactly on what I wanted: cleanly defining only the double eyelid line!! Honestly, I did wonder whether surgery with only that could completely improve the discomfort I usually felt. But the director said the heaviness I felt when opening my eyes was because my eyelids were sagging, and that this could be improved enough just by creating the double eyelid well through an incision. It helped a lot that he explained not only the cosmetic aspects but also the functional aspects without overtreatment!! After surgery, the line really looks so clean, and because my double eyelids look clearer than before, even when I do eyeshadow, eyelashes, and eyeliner, the line doesn’t get hidden and shows well, so I like it even more!! Until the one-week mark, maybe because it was incisional, my eyes felt heavy when I woke up, but after getting swelling care at the clinic and doing warm compresses at home, it got better quickly. I have no issues at all with daily life, and the eye fatigue I used to feel is gone now ㅎㅅㅎ Even the parts I was worried about improved cleanly, so I keep thinking, why did I put off revision surgery until now~~!!
