9 years ago, I only had cartilage tying done, and because the hump bothered me, I got filler 4 years ago. But even after doing both of those, the hump still wasn’t corrected, and the fact that my nose was slightly crooked was always stressful. Especially when taking photos, that part showed more noticeably, so it bothered me. After thinking about it for a long time, I eventually decided to have surgery. It took me a long time to decide on surgery, but choosing a hospital was truly a task too. Still, after hearing information from acquaintances around me about the hospitals where they had surgery and going for consultations, I did find a place that felt right. Maybe because I had an implant placed in the nasal bridge, revision surgery on the nasal tip, correction for a bulbous nose, hump nose, long nose, crooked nose, columella correction, and even used donated costal cartilage, when the splint was first removed, the swelling was worse than I expected. The early recovery process was also more uncomfortable than expected, so I thought this really wasn’t a simple surgery. I was stressed too. But as time passed, the swelling gradually went down and I could see the nose line becoming more defined, so I felt a bit better. How did everyone get through this period? It’s been about a month now, and the nose line has settled into the look I wanted, so I’m really satisfied now. I like that my overall facial image feels more refined and balanced, and in the end, I think it was a surgery I’m truly satisfied with, enough to endure the initial discomfort. It would have been so nice if I could have felt this way right away without the difficult process But I’m happy now, so that’s enough.
