Nose Surgery Reviews

One month after my first rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage!!

It has been one month since I had silicone for the nasal bridge / autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip / bulbous nose correction with Director Kim Hyun-joo at RU Plastic Surgery! Everyone around me says my nose turned out well, but I liked it even more when they first said things like, "You have more of a vibe now" and "You look more refined"! Since my features used to look rather indistinct, those were exactly the words I wanted to hear! I'm even happier because I think I'm hearing those comments because she made my nose pretty in a way that suits my facial proportions, rather than just making it blindly high haha Recently, I went in for my one-month follow-up, and while looking at my before-and-after photos, she explained things to me and checked my nose herself. She said I have very little swelling, so from here on, the line will probably just become slightly more refined! In my case, I naturally had very little swelling, so during recovery I didn't take any separate anti-swelling medication! At first, the nasal tip was extremely hard, but it's gradually becoming softer, and as the swelling goes down, the shape is becoming rounder and smoother too! The columella scar is barely visible when I wear makeup haha Still, I'm applying scar ointment consistently! The autologous costal cartilage donor site was also a raised scar at first, but the raised part has all gone down, and I'm taking good care of it while applying scar medication! Now there isn't anything particularly uncomfortable, and I think I just need to keep managing the scar from the autologous costal cartilage surgery well!
