During a consultation for full removal, I showed them a photo of my old nose, and they said the nasal tip was a bit lacking, so after doing a full removal, they suggested crushing up the ear cartilage that’s currently in my nasal tip and putting in just a little bit. I’m honestly taken aback. Isn’t this cartilage particle grafting?? I understand it’s not even an old surgical method, and doctors’ opinions are split about it, so is this right..? Has anyone here had cartilage crushed up and placed in the nasal tip during removal? I was a bit worried, so I asked whether it might have to be scraped out later, and they said no, that there would be no problem..
