As soon as I had the consultation, I firmly decided to just go to Gangnam for plastic surgery.. This is a consultation review for eyes and nose at a plastic surgery clinic that is fairly famous in Gwangju! I made an appointment by phone first, and they said I might still have to wait even with a reservation (I waited 20-30 minutes there).
As soon as I went in, without even asking what eye shape I wanted or what direction I wanted for surgery, they said, “Because your eyes are like this, we’ll definitely do surgery with an in-out or semi-out line using incision.” That was exactly how it was. As soon as I heard it, I was like, huh..? I asked whether partial incision or buried suture wasn’t possible, and they said absolutely not.
They said the same director does both eyes and nose, so I got a nose consultation too. They said that since I have a bulbous nose and my skin is thick and tough, they would need to use 7-8 mm silicone for the nasal bridge, and use ear cartilage for the nasal tip. They said only then could my nose become at least somewhat higher. Honestly, I don’t care about making my nasal bridge higher; I only want it raised enough to correct the bulbous nose.. but they kept saying the bridge needed to be raised.
For both eyes and nose, they didn’t ask at all about the shape I wanted, the feeling I wanted, or what my complexes were.
Just.. overall they were unfriendly and it felt coercive, so I didn’t like it.
Consultation fee was 10,000 won! I waited 20-30 minutes and I think the consultation lasted 15 minutes lol
After this consultation, I deeply felt that, as expected, plastic surgery should be done in Gangnam!
