Before ptosis correction, my eyelids tended to droop heavily, so people around me often said that I looked sleepy even when I was only a little tired, or that my eyes looked plain and made my impression look indistinct. Especially in the morning, swelling made it even harder to open my eyes, and by evening my eyelids would feel heavy, so I had to use my forehead to open my eyes, which even caused headaches. I visited a few well-known plastic surgery clinics in person (roughly 3-4 places), but they either recommended lines that were too excessive for my eye condition or focused only on the functional aspect, so I couldn’t really see whether there would be improvement and couldn’t make a decision easily. Then, truly as a last step, I came across a surgery review and learned about the clinic. When I went for a consultation, the director balanced the aesthetic aspect and the functional discomfort just right, and the line wasn’t excessive either, so I decided to have surgery. I hesitated a little because it had to be done with an incision, but I decided to trust them and go ahead.
During the consultation, I seriously explained the issues I had been concerned about, and the director checked the condition of my eyes very thoroughly. Seeing them explain in detail how they would remove the drooping part and how much muscle adjustment would be done gave me trust. Most of all, the line the director designed had exactly the inner double-eyelid line feeling I wanted, so I decided to have the surgery right there. haha
Recovery process Right after surgery, I was a little startled because of the swelling, but during my company vacation, I followed the clinic’s guidance as closely as possible. I tried to follow everything one by one, such as the compress schedule, follow-up visit schedule, and precautions, and my recovery was faster than I expected.
Once the ptosis correction clearly took effect, my eyes became more defined! Since the upper part of my pupils became visible, my family, friends, and acquaintances all said my impression looked clearer. Of course, during the first 2-3 weeks there was bruising and swelling, so everyone said it looked a bit intense at first, but because the line settled into a natural inline shape without being too excessive, they said they got used to it quickly haha
People around me most often said that my eyes looked clearer and that my impression looked stronger. They said I used to look tired and indistinct, but now, a little over 1 month later, everyone is full of compliments, saying it doesn’t look obvious that I had plastic surgery and that it turned out well.
My complex has been resolved, forehead wrinkles don’t form when I open my eyes, and I can feel that my eyelids have become stronger, so I’m satisfied every time I look in the mirror. I really think I made the right choice by not rushing into it anywhere and having the surgery at this plastic surgery clinic. Hearing for the first time in my life that my impression has become clearer made me feel really good. These days, men need to take care of themselves too, so if anyone is worried about their eye shape and ptosis like I was, don’t just keep worrying and make sure to start with a clinic consultation.
