Hi everyone! I remember wanting rhinoplasty 3+ years ago and visiting this community every day. Recently, while I was debating whether to get a nose revision/touch-up, I came back to the community and felt sad because public opinion about the hospital and doctor I went to seems to have changed a lot, so I’m writing this. Before getting the revision/touch-up, I thought I’d search around, and I saw some comments about KBJ that seemed to be stirring up anxiety. I even replied asking them to tell me more, and they said it would come up if I searched on Naver or Gangnam Unni, so I searched, but I couldn’t find anything. I’ve been living with so much gratitude after my rhinoplasty. So I’m going to write a short review now that it’s been 3 years. My skin was thin, my nose was small and short, and it really had all the unfavorable factors, so costal cartilage was essential. Even then, because my skin was thin, it was a nose that couldn’t be raised much. I went to more than ten clinics, including Cㅇ, Sㅇ, B, YSSYT, LBL, KBJ, JYJY, KY, and so on, and decided to have it done by Dr. HSM at KBJ. At the time, it had only been about a year since the doctor opened the clinic, but I chose him because he was from Simmian, known for difficult noses and revision/re-revision cases, and because during his Simmian days he was warm to patients (I saw a review saying he came in on his day off to see a patient), and because he said safety was his top priority. I had no functional problems with my nose, and none of it was covered by insurance, so even though I paid the full expensive amount out of pocket, I ultimately had it done there because I wanted a safe rhinoplasty. I was very satisfied with the surgical result. I was so scared of having costal cartilage harvested, but after surgery, I didn’t even realize they had taken it. Actually, I didn’t even realize the surgery was over because it didn’t hurt at all. I remember that the incision and harvest were smaller than what other clinics had described, and the surgery also finished quickly, in about two hours. My recovery was very fast too, and I remember wearing makeup and going out after just one week lol Now, 3 years later, my nose is still fine and still pretty, but the reason I’m considering a revision/touch-up is because I’m wondering whether to fill out the nasal tip a little more. At the time of surgery, my nose was so short that the doctor projected it as much as possible, but when I went for my final follow-up before the 3-year mark, the doctor said my nasal tip would look pretty with just a little more added, and that my skin had stretched a bit so it could be filled out. It was a revision/touch-up I hadn’t even thought of, so now I’m really torn about whether to do it or not lol People around me say my nose is pretty as it is, so why open it up again, but I also feel like, since my nose has already been opened once, I want to do it one more time and make it a little prettier.. lol The doctor also said it would only involve opening the nasal tip, so it’s much easier than doing the whole nose.. lol Anyway.. I’ll end my 3-year rhinoplasty review here! + It seems like if I say I did it at KBJ, people treat me like a shill/broker, but I’m absolutely not a shill/broker, and I paid with my own card, so please don’t misunderstand (it was seriously insanely expensive haha) Because it was so expensive, I even asked first whether they could discount it if I wrote a review or did advertising or something, and I remember the consultant firmly saying they don’t do events like that.. It was so expensive that I practically paid in tears. I honestly don’t know why there’s so much talk about shills/brokers these days for a place like this. Anyway, this is really the end! And if anyone here has had a revision/touch-up at KBJ, please leave a comment!!
