After my first nose surgery 18 years ago, contracture gradually developed over time, causing the nasal tip to become quite upturned. For 5-6 years, I visited many clinics, but none felt right. Just when I thought I could not keep worrying about it anymore, an acquaintance had nose surgery, and the result was so natural and pretty that I was introduced to Director Kim Jin-woo.
During the consultation, he was the kindest and gave a sincere, thoughtful consultation, so I felt I could trust him. That is why I had my revision surgery with Director Kim Jin-woo at The K Plus.
In my previous surgery, silicone of 4 mm or more, ear cartilage, and temporal fascia were used. For this revision surgery, the silicone height was lowered to almost half of the previous height, and autologous costal cartilage was used.
What I was most dissatisfied with after my first surgery was that the nasal bridge had been raised too high, making it very obvious that I had surgery.
So for this revision surgery, the goal was to lower the upturned nose as much as possible, lower the nasal bridge, and make it look as natural as possible.
I worked from home for about a week after surgery, and started going back to the office from day 8 after surgery.
There was much less bruising than I expected, and the swelling was not severe either. My coworkers said that if I did not tell them, they probably would not know I had surgery, and that I seemed fine even without wearing a mask haha
I am satisfied with the nostril-wing line, and I really like the overall direction too~ Since it is still early after surgery, there is still a bit of swelling left in the middle of the nasal bridge, so I am waiting for the major swelling to go down quickly^^
