Now I can open my mouth well, I have no pain, and I’m eating almost everything I want. Honestly, the early recovery period was a bit difficult, but looking back, time really went by quickly. As the swelling went down and the lateral cheekbone line naturally settled inward, I can definitely feel that the facial margins look refined. I’m satisfied when I look in the mirror, but I especially feel the biggest difference when taking photos! Before, my face looked wide because of my lateral cheekbones, but now it looks much slimmer. I only had one type of lateral cheekbone surgery, but seeing that it could change this much makes me even more satisfied. People around me also don’t really notice unless I tell them I had surgery, and they often say I just became prettier in a natural, unnoticeable way, so it’s exactly the reaction I wanted haha Also, the double chin I had treated together has tucked in nicely, so my facial margins feel more refined overall, and I’m much more satisfied with my side profile and when taking photos. I do remember recovery being hard, but seeing the results now, this is a surgery I truly feel glad I did! I’m looking forward to how much more natural it will become as it settles further haha
