I chose Girin Plastic Surgery because it’s famous enough that even I, someone who isn’t interested in plastic surgery, had heard of it. Since I was coming up from outside Seoul, the staff member who arranged the appointment so that I could have the consultation and surgery on the same day gave me a good impression of the clinic from the start. During the in-person consultation, they explained the surgery-related costs well, which was nice, but it still felt very vague. Then the director designed my eyes? He held the double eyelid line and showed me in the mirror, so I could understand, “Oh, this is how it will look.” It just gave me a feeling of trust, so I decided to go ahead with the surgery. After the surgery, I didn’t have much pain, but until the stitches were removed, it felt a bit tight and uncomfortable. After the surgery, my dry eye symptoms got worse. It has been one month since the surgery, and I can still clearly see that the swelling hasn’t fully gone down yet, so around the time I was worrying by myself, “Is this healing well? Is this right?” people around me told me that my eyes looked more open and refreshed, which put my mind at ease. I think it will look more natural once the swelling goes down more.
