Now that I’m in my 40s, I’m gradually losing facial volume, but why did it have to be my eyelids that started looking hollow first... By afternoon, my eye hollows would look deeply sunken, making my expression look so tired and making me look much older. It was honestly so stressful that I booked an appointment at Grace Plastic Surgery, which is known for eye surgery, and went in. To be honest, I was really worried about fat grafting, but during the consultation, the director said he would fill only as much as needed to make them look lively, so I thought that much should be fine and went ahead with the surgery. The amount was just enough to fill the eyelids smoothly, and opening my eyes feels much lighter now, while my overall impression has become so much softer. At first, my husband was asking what kind of surgery I had, but now he keeps saying I did well because my face looks much brighter haha The bruising and swelling went down faster than I expected, too. Now it doesn’t look obvious that I had anything done; it just feels like my own tissue. I keep thinking I should have done it sooner, to the point where I wonder why I spent so much time worrying and feeling upset while looking in the mirror. It really feels like my eye shape alone makes me look 5 years younger, so these days I actually enjoy looking in the mirror!
