Nose Surgery Reviews

3 weeks after my first rhinoplasty with donated rib cartilage, including hump correction

It’s been 3 weeks since I had surgery with donated rib cartilage by Director Kim Jun-young at a plastic surgery clinic. My nasal tip originally drooped, my bridge was low, and I had a long nose, so I wanted to improve all three of those. With donated rib cartilage, I had my nasal bridge and tip raised, and also had my hump corrected at the same time. Right now, a lot of the swelling has gone down, though it hasn’t completely gone away yet. The drooping of the nasal tip has definitely improved. I can see that it’s much higher than before. My bridge also became moderately higher, so my face has more dimension. The hump I had was also smoothed out, so the line looks natural. For the long nose, raising the nasal tip seems to have the effect of making it look shorter. The line looks pretty from the side. People around me have been reacting well, saying my nose looks different. I feel more confident than before. Since it’s donated rib cartilage, I heard it provides stability and good nasal tip support, and I think that’s true. It’s only been 3 weeks, but if it’s already like this, I think it’ll look much better once I recover more
