Eye Surgery Reviews

After getting double eyelid surgery + canthoplasty at a clinic, my eyes went from =_= to ㅇ_ㅇ like this lol..

My friends said they’d never seen anyone whose double eyelid surgery turned out as well as mine, and even when I look at the before/after photos, I feel like it doesn’t look like the same person lol.. I had wanted double eyelid surgery so, so badly for a long time, but I’m the type who gets scared easily, so I lived worrying a whole truckload about whether it might go wrong or whether the double eyelids would look too obvious. Then I failed an interview for a company I really wanted to join... In terms of qualifications, I met the requirements well enough, but when I even lost the internship opportunity, it really hit me hard, and I started wondering if maybe my overall impression itself just wasn’t good. So from the end of last year, I seriously started going around for consultations. But the consultations weren’t as good as I’d expected lol.... Maybe they were places that advertised too much I definitely went because other people said they were good, but by my standards the consultations were way too short, and I didn’t really like the eye styles either, so there were tons of places where I only wasted time + consultation fees... After getting hit with reality, I eventually asked around through acquaintances and got information on clinics that are good at double eyelid surgery, and one of them was this clinic. I was told I should consult with Director Kim Tae-hoon, so I booked the earliest date possible and went for the consultation. Taking into account that I had monolids + looked sleepy + had small eyes, the director recommended natural adhesion double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction/non-incisional eye shape correction + epicanthoplasty and upper canthoplasty. They say it’s really hard to find that standard for a “naturally glamorous” look, right? I was seriously extremely picky about that standard (so I think that made it even harder to find a clinic I liked), but the director explained in detail that he would set the double eyelid at 8 mm and do the canthoplasty by 1 mm each, and he designed the eye style for me. I had thought I wanted canthoplasty, but I hadn’t planned to do both the inner/front and upper areas... But while the director was shaping my eyes, he said I needed to do upper canthoplasty too for the natural yet glamorous feel I wanted, so I ended up doing them together. Since my eyes looked sleepy, the eye shape correction was basically a half-forced must lol. After the double eyelid surgery, recovery was smoother than I expected, so it was fine. I didn’t really have that heavy-eye feeling people talk about either.. Just like the feeling after watching a sad movie and crying the day before? Even that feeling was only there in the morning, and once I went about daily life, by evening I barely noticed my eyes..?? So even though the clinic told me to come in for swelling care, I was too lazy and didn’t go.. The decisive thing was that the clinic was far away too The double eyelid line also seems to be settling close to the line I first tried out with the director, so I’m really, really happy with it.... They say the best clinic recommendation is one from an acquaintance, and I guess famous clinics get shared by word of mouth like this lol. Before, I often heard that I looked sleepy and tired, but these days I get a lot of compliments that my eyes are pretty too lol. Now it feels like I’m walking around with my eyes properly open.
