I open my eyes with my forehead a lot, so I knew I’d have to get a forehead lift someday, but since I’m in my 20s, I thought I should try thread lifting first, so I went for a consultation. The doctor also recommended surgery. They said that because the force I use to open my eyes with my forehead is so strong, it would loosen quickly. I only went after seeing an event for 8 threads on an app, but after the consultation they asked how about using 10 threads, 5 on each side. I said I just wanted to do only 8, and there was no further pressure. Since it was thread lifting, I went thinking it would just be a simple procedure, but they said I had to undergo sedation anesthesia. Seems like other places are all like that too..? After I got home and the anesthesia fully wore off, it was hell for at least 3 days. The headache was insanely bad. And if I frowned my eyes even slightly, the threads fixed to my scalp would pull and hurt like crazy. Later, I don’t know if the fixed threads were coming down while scraping the scalp tissue, but when I made a facial expression, there was a crackling sound and it felt like the threads were scraping inside my scalp;; At first my eyes looked completely like a startled rabbit’s, and that lasted for 1 month, but after two months it reset to how it was before the procedure. Maybe because all the threads dissolved too. I seriously regret it. It’s better to just get surgery from the beginning. The effect really doesn’t last long and it’s a waste of money. Also, I don’t think the doctor’s aesthetic sense itself is that good either.
