I visited 1mm Plastic Surgery Clinic. It is located right next to the station, so it is easy to find. As the reviews say, the waiting time really seems to be quite long. On my first visit, I only had a consultation with the consultant. I couldn’t have the consultation with the director because the surgery was running long and they said I would have to wait more than 3 hours. I visited again 3 days later, waited about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and had the consultation. As most reviews say, the director is outgoing and cynical. I really got the sense that he is confident in his own skills. Rather than feeling like he was adjusting things together with the patient, it felt more like, “This is right, this is how it has to be done. Just trust me and follow my lead.” When I asked about the surgical method or basic principles, he spoke as if those are things it is important for the doctor to know, and the patient does not need to know. (Like a tsundere, he does explain again afterward though.) The fact that he clearly identified the problems with my eyes and suggested suitable surgery felt trustworthy. But I think I can understand what aspects people may either like or dislike. Because of the hospital’s characteristic long waiting system, I did not end up making a reservation. I didn’t have time to discuss the price with the consultant, but they said it was roughly in the low-to-mid 3 million won range.
