6-week review of pinch lifting (endoscopic mini facelift) I’m writing an honest review of my current condition just past the 6-week mark, hoping it may be of even a little help to those considering surgery. First, I’ll write about why I chose this hospital. Personally, I’m quite particular about my standards for choosing a hospital. There’s a reason: I myself worked for 13 years at a hospital with over 500 employees, so I naturally notice things like the hospital system, the atmosphere in the operating room, and sterilization management. After receiving consultations at several places, there were three main reasons I chose Director Kim Jong-gyu. 1. Direct consultation with the director These days, in many cases the consultation manager handles most of the consultation, but here, after the manager, the director personally conducted the consultation. He looked at my face directly, explained my current condition, and realistically told me what could be improved and where I should lower my expectations, which actually made me trust him more. 2. Very detailed explanation It wasn’t simply like, “You can get lifting.” He explained in quite a lot of detail which layer would be approached and pulled, and how it would be fixed using an endoscope. He explained everything very calmly and professionally, so I felt trust. 3. The atmosphere of a veteran team felt in the operating room This was actually the part that made me trust them even more on the day of surgery. When you enter an operating room, you can honestly feel how skilled the team is, and here I strongly felt that they were a team that had worked together for a long time. I was shaking so much that they even held my hand The workflow, preparation, and equipment setup were very well organized, and the director and staff moved accurately without being unnecessarily hectic. In particular, I place importance on operating room sterilization and hygiene management, and from the perspective of someone who has worked in a hospital for a long time, I felt they were very serious about hygiene and sterilization. Personally, this was quite a big point of trust for me. --- Current condition at 6 weeks • Most of the major swelling has gone down • My jawline feels a little more refined than before (amazingly, my chin fat is gone too) • The sagging around my mouth feels naturally lifted • There is still some slightly dulled sensation around the cheekbones (recovering) To describe the result, rather than a dramatic, drastic change, it feels like my facial impression has been refined. People around me ask, “Did you lose weight?” That’s about it, and almost no one immediately notices I had surgery, but close acquaintances and family asked right away what I had done. I liked that part. For those who wanted a lift that naturally refines the face without looking obvious, I really highly recommend it. I hope this is of even a little help to those considering surgery.
