It’s already been 7 months since my nose surgery…! I’m just living with it like it’s my own nose now. My nose originally looked a bit blunt from the front, like a bulbous nose, and from the side I barely had a nasal bridge, so I always felt disappointed when taking photos. Especially with the default camera, my nasal tip looked round and spread out, and my face overall looked flat.
So after thinking about it for a long time, I decided to get bulbous nose correction and osteotomy together and go for a straight-to-slightly-curved nasal line. Before surgery, honestly, I wondered, do I really need to do this? But after doing it, I wonder why I worried so much… I really only think that I should have done it sooner.
Now at 7 months, of course all the major swelling is gone, and even the minor swelling feels almost settled. The nasal tip has settled much more naturally than at first, and the line falls into a pretty straight-to-slightly-curved shape without looking excessive, so I’m very satisfied.
When I look at my side profile, the flow from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip connects smoothly, so I feel much more confident taking photos than before. From the front too, my nose looks slimmer, and it no longer has that spread-out look like before, so that’s what I’m happiest about.
Maybe because I had osteotomy together, the width of my nose itself feels refined. It doesn’t feel like an obviously operated-on nose, but just like a naturally pretty nose, so I like it even more haha
