I’m posting my review of my rhinoplasty too! My complex was that I had a low nose, and my nasal tip was plump and large So I envied slim, glamorous noses with a straight-to-slightly-curved line.
I told them the look I was aiming for, had a consultation, and ended up having surgery using silicone, septal cartilage, donated costal cartilage, and donated dermis (nasal tip).
Since I was already doing it, I also had functional nose surgery (deviated septum, inferior turbinate) at the same time!
At first, I was surprised after the splint was removed, but it turned out to be swelling. A lot of the swelling went down over one month.
My friends say the residual swelling will go down even more, but I wonder if it’ll feel different again when I see it after one or two more months?
Of course I’m still careful and conscious of it when showering, washing my face, doing makeup, and even when sleeping,,
but when I look in the mirror, it has changed into the look I wanted so much that I wonder if this is really my nose, so I’m satisfied
