Nose Surgery Reviews

Review on Day 7 After Rhinoplasty

My natural nose was low and small. I had silicone for the nasal bridge, bulbous nasal tip correction, correction of a hump nose, deviated nose, and short nose + septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and donated costal cartilage were used. (I was told that my septal cartilage was also too small, so to get the look I wanted, costal cartilage would have to be used.) During the consultation, since the clinic is definitely well known for revision surgeries, they really caught even the tiniest details. They pointed out things I hadn’t even thought of, like how the connection between my forehead and nasal dorsum doesn’t have much of a step-off, so they would place the silicone with that in mind, and that if they raised it too much, since I already don’t have much alar width, they would need to take that into account when raising it, otherwise it could look too disharmonious. I really liked that. In the photos, the top is before, and the bottom is today! For day 7, aren’t the swelling and bruising really okay?? haha I barely had any bruising, and only had a bit of swelling. Today, while removing the stitches and taking off the splint, we checked the progress, and the director said the swelling around the glabella was severe. They said it wasn’t pooled blood! Next week I’m going again to have the ear stitches removed. For day 7, I think the line is really pretty too. Considering that the nasal bridge will get a bit slimmer and the nose will become a bit lower, I think it’ll be exactly the image I wanted!! haha There is still a bit of an Avatar-like look because of the glabella. I hope all the swelling goes down quickly haha It still feels so unfamiliar lololol
