My dad’s lower blepharoplasty went well, so after seeing that, my mom had it done too. The bulging was smoothed out, but the area under her eyes became hollow. It looks like dark circles. Her face was absolutely never like that before. At first, I wondered if the swelling around her eyes had moved down to her cheekbones, making the under-eye area look relatively sunken, but even now, at 4 months post-op, it’s still the same. The clinic says they want to see her again at the 6-month mark. Hmm. Last time, my dad’s surgery went well and I was so happy that I wrote a very glowing review, but I’m upset... I really hope this gets resolved well. It would be best if time fixes it, but will the sunken under-eye area really fill in just because time passes? I’m doubtful.
