Breast Surgery Reviews

Stress over upper breast sagging after dieting.. I finally had breast surgery!! Day 1 review of breast surgery at Amorata Plastic Surgery

Finally solved the task I kept putting off! Day 1 breast surgery review (🚨Long post warning🚨) My breast size wasn’t extremely small, but when I took off my underwear, I didn’t have upper volume, so my breasts looked saggy, and that was always a concern for me. 🫠🫠🫠 I like traveling and I also swim, so when I go places like Southeast Asia, I wanted to wear just a nude bra with pretty clothes and also wear swimsuits nicely. But the problem was, when I took photos.. my breasts looked like they were way~ down low… lol To me, they looked really saggy So when I told people I knew that I was considering breast surgery, they would only see me with underwear on and say things like, “Your breasts are already big, why do it?” “It doesn’t look like you need it?” I heard that so many times. But I know the real situation best.. It felt like my confidence just dropped as soon as I took off my underwear. Especially when I wore swimsuits, it showed even more, so I kept worrying about it every time I took photos. So after thinking about it for a long time, I thought, “I’ll probably worry about this for the rest of my life, so let’s just fix it,” searched for tons of reviews, went to consultations at a few hospitals, and after consultations at several places, I decided to have surgery at Amorata, and yesterday I finally had the surgery!!!! ★★Why I decided on Amorata!! ★★ I went to a total of 3 breast consultations, and among them, Amorata was the only place that told me surgery could be done with implants alone, without a breast lift. Since I’m unmarried, the scar part was what bothered me the most. The consultant and director honestly told me, “If you do an areolar lift together, the shape correction will be more definite,” but the breast shape I wanted was also a natural-looking feel, and they explained that if the surgery is done subfascially, sagging can also be corrected to some extent, and they explained step by step how it would change. When I heard that explanation, I felt like, “Ah, they’re talking to me based on my situation,” so I think I trusted them. And I kept worrying about scars, so I also liked that they explained they would manage scars systematically. - Skin booster injection to the inframammary fold scar area on the day of surgery - Scar laser + skin booster care at months 1, 2, and 3 - Additional care possible after 3 months if the scar still bothers me They explained it like this, so I think my worries about scars eased a bit. And there was one thing that stayed in my memory during the consultation. The consultant said, “The scar is almost invisible to the point that you really don’t have to worry much about it,” and directly showed me her own scar… lol 👀🤭👍 It felt more like seeing a real review than an advertisement photo, so I think that part made me trust them more too. And I heard that not only the consultant, but quite a few of the staff members had surgery from the director too. I did get consultations at other hospitals too, but some places felt pretty strongly commercial. But for me, the Amorata consultation felt less commercial, felt like they were proposing a plan that fit my situation, and after the consultation, the biggest thing was that the parts I had been curious about felt organized. So after consultations at several places, I decided on Amorata. I’ve been rambling for a long time, so now I’ll write my breast surgery review 😊 ★★ Surgery day!! How it felt right after ★★ After surgery ended and I went to the recovery room, my body was really cold and I was shaking. The nurses covered me with an electric blanket and said, “After about an hour, the body shaking and cold feeling will disappear like magic,” and after about 1 hour, it really disappeared just like a lie, so it was fascinating. 😮😮😮 The consultant was kind, but I also liked that the nurses really seemed to care about the patient. And at other plastic surgery clinics, when recovering, your path can overlap with other patients, or you may share the recovery space, which can be a bit uncomfortable, but Amorata has single rooms, and the recovery room space was spacious too, so it didn’t feel stuffy at all and was comfortable. While I was resting, the sunlight coming through the window was nice too… lol ✨ You might ask how I remember all this when I must have been out of it after surgery? Strangely enough, even though I had breast surgery, it didn’t hurt at all… lol So I asked, “Is it okay for it to not hurt this much?” and they said that when surgery is done subfascially, recovery is often faster and pain is often less. Actually, I’ve had a few other surgeries before too, and among the surgeries I’ve had, breast surgery felt the least painful. (I think nose surgery and liposuction were honestly more painful…) After resting in the recovery room like that, I came home, ate, took medicine, and fell asleep right away. The bandage felt a bit tight and stuffy, but when I thought, “I only have to endure this for one day,” it was okay. ★★ Ta-da! Finally Day 1 ★★ As soon as I opened my eyes, I went straight to the hospital… lololol Honestly, I was a bit nervous until the bandages were removed. Yesterday, I was wrapped tightly in bandages, so I couldn’t really see the breast shape. I arrived at the hospital and they removed the bandages… and the very first thought I had was, “Why did I only do this now…” 😭😭 Even though there was tape on my breasts, I liked the breast shape so much. It felt exactly like what I wanted, with the upper volume filled in 🥹 Before, when I took off my underwear, the upper breasts looked empty, so they looked saggy, but now the upper line feels filled in, so when I looked in the mirror, the breast shape looked much prettier. And since I’m not exactly petite-framed, I had worried that I might look bulky after surgery, but before surgery, the director said, “If upper volume is created, it can actually have the effect of making the body look slimmer.” And it really feels like my body line looks better? There was that kind of feeling. Of course, since it’s only day 1 after surgery, there is swelling and they said it’s not fully settled yet, and they said it will become more natural going forward. Still, for day 1, the shape was pretty good, so I felt really relieved inside lol And at Amorata, on day 1 they remove the bandages, change you into a compression bra, and also do regeneration laser and hyperbaric oxygen care. Before surgery, the consultant explained that hyperbaric oxygen therapy may help with recovery speed and condition recovery, and after receiving it myself today, my body felt somehow refreshed? It made me feel like my condition had improved for no reason haha Since they provide care like this too, it didn’t feel like they just do the surgery and that’s it; it felt like they care about recovery too, which was nice. And the most fascinating thing was that there is almost no pain, less than I expected! I thought it would hurt a lot, but right now it just feels like my breasts are a little heavy? There’s only an occasional tingling feeling here and there, so I don’t think daily life is greatly uncomfortable. For now, the compression bra still feels a little tight and stuffy, but after one day, my body already feels much more comfortable. I’m already looking forward to how it will feel once the swelling goes down and everything settles… haha
